Finish The Thing (the "Service") is operated by Becoming Irresistible ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you are entering into an agreement with Becoming Irresistible.
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must have authority to bind your organisation (if applicable) or be of legal age in your jurisdiction.
Finish The Thing provides AI-powered focus coaches (also referred to as "doubles") that accompany you through timed work sprints with voice check-ins, streaks, and win receipts. Features may evolve over time.
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
You are responsible for your prompts, how you use outputs, verifying accuracy of AI outputs, and ensuring you have the rights to any content you input.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). We may moderate, filter, or refuse outputs and may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We will remove or restrict content where required, including in response to rights-holder takedown requests; repeated infringement may result in termination.
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, documentation, and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or circumvent technical limits of the Service.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via paddle.net or the account management link in your purchase receipt.
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete account data after a reasonable export window.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify Becoming Irresistible against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Becoming Irresistible is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
